This stunning new warehouse and showroom building located in Cromwell's thriving Dunn Road commercial subdivision, was completed in March of this year. The project showcases our expertise in comprehensive design-build solutions.
The 435sqm building caters to all of Redpaths' needs, offering a spacious 270sqm warehouse, a dedicated showroom area, comfortable office space with staff amenities, and even a convenient two-bedroom apartment on the upper level. This project exemplifies our collaborative approach. While Redpaths had a clear vision for their space, our Cohesive Design team in Christchurch provided valuable expertise in finalizing the concepts and plans to ensure a functional and aesthetically pleasing outcome.
The building itself boasts a robust structure featuring a combination of hot and cold rolled steel portals for optimal support. Concrete tilt panels form the exterior walls, providing a clean and durable finish. A unique feature is the large, cantilevered lean-to on the side, offering ample covered space for loading and unloading. To complement the surrounding natural landscape, Redpaths opted for a touch of local flair. We incorporated schist stonework on the ground floor and around the office area, while cedar cladding adds warmth to the upper-level apartment. The remaining sections of the building utilize a combination of concrete tilt panels and modern steel T-Rib cladding for a cohesive look.
Our scope of work on Redpaths encompassed the entire design and build process, ensuring a seamless experience for our client. This included internal fit-out, encompassing wall linings, painting, plumbing fixtures, floor coverings, and even a suspended ceiling for the showroom. We also took care of the exterior aspects, completing the tarseal driveway, parking area, and landscaping, resulting in a truly turnkey solution.
